It could be purchased at all branches of Timothy Whites & Taylors Ltd as well as Parkes, Thornbers and Thompson & Capper all popular high street chemists covering the majority of the UK. Timothy Whites merged with Taylors in 1935 which inturn was taken over by Boots in 1968 so firmly dates this item to the mid 20th Century, probably 1950's. This empty, circular metal tin is in very good condition. With an overall olive green background colour and blue text there is minimal wear, no signs of rusting inside or outside and the colour is unfaded. A great item for a collector of vintage tins, all things connected to medical advertising or perfect as part of a period display.
