Found yourself alone but need to stimulate your brain then try out Solitaire. This item is in remarkably good condition considering it is probably sixty or more years old. The box is heavily rubbed along the edges with some minor surface wear but remains intact. The original price of 5/1 is marked in pencil on the lid. Inside the game is complete. The game board measuring 17.5cm in diameter is beautifully crafted of brown coloured Bakelite, an early plastic which resembles walnut wood. The balls are also Bakelite. One ball, which is placed in the centre of the board, is very slightly redder in colour but is difficult to distinguish from the others. Also included is a multilingual (English, German, French and Spanish) rules sheet which has some folding and discolouration. A great item for a collector of vintage games, for someone interested in early plastics especially Bakelite or simply a fun and stimulating game to distract you from your mobile.
