"Open Channel D .... " Possibly the best looking law enforcement/espionage agents that graced the television screens of the 1960's. This cult American series has been re-run many times over the decades. The dynamic agents,  Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin played by the Robert Vaughan and David McCallum respectively were led by Alexander Waverley (Leo G Carroll) battling the evil THRUSH organisation. This piece of genuine official merchandise dates from c.1966 and is in good condition. The hardback covers are unfaded, the front depicts a coloured photograph of Robert Vaughan. The covers and spine have a few small bumps, the plastic cellophane covering is beginning to deteriorate but this doesn't detract from the look or enjoyment of the book. The binding remains strong in the main but the first three pages are starting to detach. Internally the annual is clean throughout, even the original 10/6 price is still observable. The annual has that fabulous old book smell. The contents comprises five stories one of which is a comic strip. There is a plethora of coloured pictures but sadly no photographs from the actual show. A great item for a fan of The Man From Uncle show, a fan of Robert Vaughan or David McCallum, or for an enthusiast of American Cult television from the 1960's.
