A circular mechanical contraption for spinning dice either for gambling purposes or as an accessory for board games. This item has no identifying marks but is thought to be from the mid 20th Century and is still in full working order. It is made simply from various materials. The side is made of metal which is painted red. The base is of cardboard coloured red. The top is made of a clear plastic. Inside is a green coloured metal plate which spins when the side lever is pushed inwards. As the plate moves the three white wooden or plastic dice jump about and when these come to a rest they show the value displayed by the black painted dots. Considering it's age and use over six or seven decades it remains in very good clean condition. There are a few rust marks but that is all. A great item for a collector of vintage toys, or of gambling articles or as an accessory to your family board games.
