With this game you gain an insight into the very beginning of true worldwide passenger air travel. Before the age of the jet airliners, available passenger aircraft had their origins in WW2, within this game you see the Lockheed Constellation, Avro Lancastrian, Handley Page Halton and Douglas Skymaster. Although advertised in Pepys catalogues this card game has no branding and is essentially anonymous. The box remains in good condition for it's age. It's still wholly intact with no fading, some rubbing along the edges, minimal creasing and two small tears that adds to that authentic vintage look. The complete set of 44 cards are in fantastic clean condition. Of standard playing card size each has an aviation design on the reverse. On the front, the cards have fully coloured scenes of various worldwide destinations, of different airport related themes and the airvraft themselves. Also included is the paper rules booklet which is clean with minimal creasing. A great item for a collector of vintage card games, for an aviation enthusiast or simply as a fun game for 2 - 4 players.
