Imagine if a Rubik's Cube was run over by a steam roller, the outcome would probably be Continuo, the simple game developed by Maureen Hiron. The idea of the game is to match coloured squares the longer the chain created the higher the score. Dating from 1982 this item is complete and in overall good condition. The box remains strong and intact. Made of thin cardboard it has a stylish gold on black design. There is some wear and rubbing at the corners and edges which adds to the authentic vintage look. The 42 thin cardboard playing pieces are in perfect condition. Each piece has a different arrangement of coloured segments. Included is a leaflet with the instructions for playing the game and also interestingly a competition form which ends on 28/02/1983 again all in good condition. A nice item for a collector of games, as part of a 1980's display or as originally intended a perfect family game for all ages.
