As played by the early 1960's jetset at the famous Balmoral Club of Nassau in The Bahamas. This word game gives you the chance to join the international champions club, whether your're a senior or junior, all you have to do is play the game and send your highest score off for scrutiny and fingers crossed you'll be accepted. This item, the "twinset" table model, is about 60 years old and is in amazing condition. The burgundy coloured box remains intact and strong, with the slightest rubbing at the corners. The lid is simply detailed with paper labels which have some small creases, tears and pen marks. One gives details of the game and the largest one has a monochrome photograph of the Late Frank Muir and Denis Norden playing the game. At the time of their endorsement they were on the BBC radio programme "My Word". Inside the contents are clean and complete. There are two thick carboard playing boards, some original score sheets, and two sets of 51 plastic letter tiles of two differing off white colours. Also included in perfect condition is the instruction booklet. This has the unique registration number for the game and the two champion club application forms are still attached. A great thing for a collector of vintage games, for a word game enthusiast or simply as a fun family game.
