Description
Have you ever been to the Stump Cross Caverns? Situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park the complex is a geological wonder. Closed during lockdown, you can still visit, virtually by purchasing a Vistascreen booklet of ten views of the caverns in magnificient monochrome 3D to enjoy from the comfort of your sofa. Designed specifically for Vistascreen viewers or it's "clones" each booklet contained 10 double imaged, monochrome real photographs. When inserted into the viewer a 3D image could be seen. They originally cost 2/6d each booklet. The outer box remains intact and has retained it's colours. Being almost 60 years old means the box has some wear; edges and corners are rubbed. The paper folder that holds the cards is in very good condition. All the cards are present and in very good or better condition. The views in this booklet are: Sentinel, Chamber of Pillars, The Baby's Cradle, The Twins, The Organ and the Sleeping Cat, "The Pillars", The Wedding Cake, The Butcher's Shop, Sandcastle Grotto, and The Hawk. A great item for a Vistascreen collector, for someone with an interest in underground structures or simply for someone looking to relive their childhood.
