Description
There's nothing that gives a truely vintage look more than a mid-20th Century camera, incorporating style and simplicity. Of literally hundreds of camera manufacturers probably the best known worldwide is Kodak. This particular Kodak camera is the Brownie Six-20 Model D produced between 1953 to 1957. As you would expect from Kodak this camera is well made. The metal faceplate has a horizontal striped design. The shutter release button and winding knob are made from black plastic. This camera has two view finders, an easy to use hinged back for loading film and covered in a black imitation leatherette. Unlike previous models of this type a 2-pin flash contact and metal triangular spring back catch were added. Overall this camera is in very good, clean condition. There are no scratches, dents or rust. Unable to be photograhically tested all the mechanisms appear to freely moving and all optics undamaged. The camera comes with the original brown canvas carry case with brown leather strape which is clean and good condition. Also included is the "How to use.." leaflet which has some creasing and the original owners name written on the back. A great item for a vintage camera collector, as a decorative item or for use as a theatrical prop.
