"They're changing the guards at Buckingham Palace....." Dating from the 1960's, this rectangular, plastic tray depicting a guardsman, would have been purchased as a memento of a trip to London. This item made from melamine is in perfect order with no damage whatsoever. The real colour photograph of a Grenadier Guard Officer in full ceremonial uniform (red tunic and busby hat) standing to attention forms the decoration to the tray. On the reverse is the maker's mark, A Pavo of Italy. A great item for someone with a connection to the Grenadier Guards, for a collector of plastics or as a decorative piece within a London themed room.
