Description
As it says on the box "Fun, educational, fascinating, for young and old." Like many similar games the object is to make words from the letters rolled on the 14 cubes. Considering this small game is over 60 years old it has survived remarkably well. The box remains strong and intact although there is slight rubbing along edges and corners and some surface wear. Due to decades of use the surface has taken on a slight grubby appearance which doesn't detract from the design of the box and gives that authentic vintage look. The simple red and black design has retained it's colour with no fading evident. The contents are complete and comprise of a red, cardboard dice shaker and 14 black wooden dice with different combination of gilded letters on each. A double sided instruction leaflet is also included which is slightly creased, has a small tear and some pen marks on the reverse. All in all a great little game. Ideal for a collector of vintage games, or as an item for a 1950's display or themed room, or as originally intended as a fun, educational game for all the family.
