Eagles are probably the best designed space ships on any television sci-fi series. This classic British Sci-Fi television series was created by Gerry Anderson and made by Associated Television Limited. Weekly episodes followed the exploits of Commander Koenig (Martin Landau), Doctor Russell (Barbara Bain), Professor Bergman (Barry Morse) and the rest of the Moonbase team as they tried to survive on the Moon as it journeyed further from the Earth. This authorised merchandise was the second annual to be published for the series. As a hardback book, this annual of 40 years old, is in very good condition. There is no fading, creasing or surface damage of any kind. The book is clean inside with a dedication to the original owner and it still displays it's original price of £1.25. Although the binding is strong the very last page with all the puzzle solutions is missing. The contents includes several stories and cartoons, character and actor biographies, general information about the space, games, puzzles and quizzes as well as many photographs. A great item for a Space fan, a devotee of 1970's British Sci-Fi television, or for someone reliving their childhood.
