Description
Originally inspired by the 19th Century British board game called Hoppity, the American devised development of Halma was created decades later. Alas this item is not that old but is still over forty years old and in excellent condition. The game is similar to draughts but with more pieces and squares on the board. The box is strong and intact and remains undamaged apart from some slight rubbing to the corners. The lid has kept it's vibrant colours and is illustrated with a visual reference of how to play the game. On the underside of the lid are printed the tri-lingual instructions. The folded chequered game board is in a very good clean condition. The multicoloured plastic playing pieces are all complete and undamaged. A great item for a vintage games collector, as an enthusiast of traditional or strategic games, as a prop in a production or as originally intended, a fun family game.
