Rule Britannia, Britannia rules the waves.... dating from around the time of the Falklands War this jigsaw depicts the aircraft carrier HMS Hermes. The box has been in the wars itself. Slightly crushed with some large creasing, corners and edges are rubbed, remnants of clear adhesive tape and a price label and also some surface damage from adhesive tape being removed. The lid illustration shows a painting of the Hermes and escort as a Fleet Air Arm Sea Harrier takes off. The jigsaw consists of around 500 cardboard pieces and has been fully checked and completed so rest assure all pieces are present. We found this jigsaw to be challenging and would recommend it for a more experienced person. A nice item for a jigsaw enthusiast, someone connected to HMS Hermes or interested in the Royal Navy or once complete as a decorative item suitable for any room.
