There's no smell of phone tapping here just good old journalism. Be a high powered editor competing to compose the front page of your newspaper. The box is strong and intact. It has suffered from having a heavy weight placed upon it which has depressed the centre of the lid resulting in creases in the corners. The lid is yellow and green in colour with the word "Scoop!" in filled with newspaper copy, printed across it. There is no fading or blemishes but the surface has taken on a grubby appearance due to it's age. The contents are complete and in clean perfect order. An interesting feature are the Advertiser's Announcement cards that are mini advertisements for well known products of the 1950's. Also included is the paper leaflet instructions. Overall a great game that appears to have had minimal use. An ideal item for someone connected with newspapers, someone interested in 1950's advertisements, a vintage game collector or someone reliving their childhood.
