A genuine piece of WW2 equipment. This item was produced for the Home Office in order to supply the Air Raid Precautions Department.  The dressing consists of a thick pad of wadding that is yellow in colour (possibly due to age) that is attached to a bandage, beige in colour (again this could be due to ageing). The dressing is packed into a small khaki coloured cloth pouch which is in great condition. On the front of the pouch is printed instructions for use, the manufacturer's name and date made.  The pouch is opened, possibly having been used in a first aid demonstration.  An ideal item for a re-enactor, a military equipment collector, someone interested in the Home Front during the war or for a collector of vintage medical equipment.
