The front depicts a pilot in a dogfight with a stylistic Japanese aeroplane. The item is mainly blue in colour. Bearing in mind the age of this item, the use it had and being printed on war-time utility paper it has survived amazingly well. There is no fading or surface blemishes apart from the original owner's initials and an ink stamped reference number. Creasing is slight apart from in one corner giving this item a great vintage look. Displayed in a black frame this item would be ideal for a 1940's music enthusiast, someone interested in aviation or could be used as a one off piece of decorative art suitable for any room of the house.
