Description

A woman looks out to see from a small harbour, either hoping liberation is not far away or longing to see her loved one.  The item is dark blue in colour.  Bearing in mind the age of this item, the use it had and being printed on war-time utility paper it has survived reasonably well.   There is no fading, but some surface finger marks and slight creasing creases, along with a rather large tear (8cm long) giving this item a vintage look while keeping the sentimental message.  Displayed in a black frame this item would be ideal for a 1940's music enthusiast, or could be used as a one off piece of decorative art suitable for any room of the house.
