A great piece of promotional advertising aimed at families with babies and young children.  The main character is a baby called "Smiler" and the aim of the game is to collect complete sets of the family groupings who are involved in someway in Smiler's upbringing. The box is beginning to show it's considerable age, signs of wear including some slight creasing, a few small tears and surface blemishes.  All these add to authenticate the genuine nature of this item.  Both sides of the box show great blue coloured design, the reverse design being the same as on the back of the cards. The cards themselves are larger in size than normal playing cards.  The pack of cards is complete and in perfect, clean condition. Each card depicts a family member, many of whom are accompanied with a Cow & Gate nutrition product.  The design and colouring is truly wonderful.  The instructions and the list of families tends to go missing but in this case they are present.  An amazing item for a card or vintage toy collector, someone interested in advertising or design, as a prop or just as a small decorative object.
