The 1970's were the glory days of television comedy not only for classic programmes such as Dad's Army but also for comedy partnerships like Morecombe and Wise and their main rivals The Two Ronnies. Ronnie Corbett and Ronnie Barker were already well known individually from their television work in the 1960's. But it was their own TV show aired from April 1971 to December 1987 that made them real household names. The Christmas shows, full of sketches and funny songs, were watched by millions. Many of the sketches have become comedy classics - we all remember "Four Candles". This paperback book contains numerous funny dialogue scripts which would have been in the news report item of each show. The book is in very good condition for it's age with some creasing to the covers. Inside the pages are in clean but are browning due to age. A nice book for Two Ronnie fans, for someone interested in classic British comedy or simply as a read that will generate a chuckle or two.
