The classic British comedy trio who were contemporaries of Monty Python and also went on to influence many modern comedy sketch shows. Comprising of Bill Oddie, Graeme Gardener and the late Tim Brooke-Taylor. As individuals the they were at the forefront of British television comedy in the 1960's with the likes of Michael Palin, Terry Jones, John Cleese, Eric Idle and Graham Chapman. Coming together as The Goodies in 1970 the television series ran from November that year until February 1980. With characters, mayhem and memorable sketches such as "Kitten Kong" and also hit records like the "Funky Gibbon" the Goodies were popular throughout the 1970's. In very good condition with a strong spine, the book is basically a Goodies episode put down on paper so is not like any run of the mill book. It includes photographs, doodles, and musing from the trio. A great gift for a fan of The Goodies or of classic British comedy, or for somone who collects television programme memorabilia.
