A compact simple game anyone can play.  The thin cardboard, coloured cards have a category printed on them in English and French. A card is selected and the spinner, in this case the older metal type, is spun to randomly give a letter. It's then up to the players to name an item within the category which begins with the specified letter.  The spinner, coloured yellow and green, is in perfect working order and with no marks. The plastic storage tray is immaculate and there is a full compliment of category cards.  The box has only the very slightest rubbing to edges and corners as would be expected of a game that is over 40 years old. A date stamp on the side indicates this game was produced in November 1971. The design of the box is almost identical to later versions of the game with a plastic spinner. The bilingual instructions are printed in the inside of the lid.  This game appears to have had minimal use. Ideal for taking on holiday, for a vintage games collector, for use as a prop in a production or fun educational aid for someone learning French.
