When you need retail therapy this game could be a cheaper option. Being over 45 years old this game has survived remarkably well. The box is strong and intact, one corner is split but has been repaired with clean adhesive tape, there is creasing as well as rubbing along the edges. Around the sides there are marks where adhesive tape was once stuck, some surface blemishes are present and the there is an overall discoloured appearance which adds to that vintage look. The lid shows a full coloured photograph of a family playing the game. On the lid someone has written the price 25p. On the inside the plastic storage tray in good condition. The full set of cards show illustrations of items associated with a shopping such as a till, trolley, scales, purse, shopping list, etc. The illustrations are coloured red and very basic when compared with those of earlier versions of the game which are also available on our site. All 8 shopkeeper cards are present as is the instruction booklet. A nice item for a collector of vintage games, someone connected with or interested in retail or as a fun and rather noisy family game.
