Description
Just what everyone needs in today's fast paced, high octane society, a reconstituent for the nervous system or Casein and Sodium Glycerophosphate, otherwise known as Sanatogen. Although still available this item dates from when Sanatogen was sold in powder form and the patient followed the instructions printed on the tin to make a wholesome beverage. According to information printed on the tin, this wonder powder could alleviate the following conditions: nervous diseases, neurasthenia, anaemia, nervous dyspepsia, digestive complaints, wasting diseases, rickets, influenza and convalescence. This particular tin probably dates from the inter war years certainly before 1946 and has survived in a good condition. There is no fading, rust or dents to the body of the tin although there is some surface wear and it has a taken on a grubby appearance which adds to that authentic vintage look. The lid has two small dents and has rust spots but this does not detract from the overall look of the item. A nice item for a vintage tin or medicine collector, or as an item for a inter-war themed room or display.
