The front depicts the face of a pretty nurse holding a red rose. The item is red and white in colour. Bearing in mind the age of this item, the use it had and being printed on war-time utility paper it has survived very well. There is no fading, the only surface blemishes are from an ink stamped reference number and the original owner's initials. There is some creasing and folding but this doesn't detract from the attractiveness of the item. Displayed in a black frame this item would be ideal for a 1940's enthusiast, someone in the medical profession or could be used as a one off piece of decorative art suitable for any room of the house.
