I feel the need for speed. This book is a handy pocket sized reference book to tell you everything you need to know about the golden age of Motor Sport. Believed to be a first edition this book has survived remarkably well considering it's age and the use it would have had over the decades. It retains the original dust jacket which has been price clipped. With a colour photograph of a Formula 1 Texaco Marlborough McLaren on the front, the colour is still vibrant but there is some creasing at the top and bottom edges of the dust jacket as would be expected if kept on a bookshelf and flicked through from time to time. The binding remains strong. The interior of the book contains 57 monochrome photographs, along with other illustrations. Overall a great item for a collector of vintage Observer books, someone interested in vintage motor sport, or for someone who would like to learn more about the golden age of Formula 1.
