Postcards have always been a popular collectible as well as being of historical interest. This particular postcard is a real monochrome photograph of Kapellestraat in Sluis, The Netherlands. The view looks down the cobbled street towards the ornate tower of the town hall. Probably dating from the early 20th Century this card is postally unused. Considering it's great age, the postcard is in excellent condition with no fading, creasing or damage of any kind. On the reverse is printed "Briefkaart" below which the card is divided in half, one side for the address the other side for the message. A really nice item for a collector of vintage postcards, or for someone with a connection to or an interested in the town of Sluis.
