Great for the amateur gardener this book is a handy pocket sized reference book to tell you everything you need to know about Garden Flowers. Believed to be a relatively early edition this book has survived remarkable well considering it's age and the use it would have had over the decades. It still retains the original dust jacket, which is not price clipped or faded but does have a few small tears and slight rubbing. The binding remains strong. The interior of the book contains 200 colour and monochrome illustrations.  Overall a great item for a collector of vintage Observer books, a keen gardener or as originally intended as a reference for those new to gardening.
