There's more to furniture than just sitting on it. This book is a handy pocket sized reference book to tell you everything you need to know about Tudor to Victorian furniture. Believed to be an early edition this book has survived remarkable well considering it's age and the use it would have had over the decades. It still retains the original dust jacket, which is not price clipped or faded but does have a few small tears and slight rubbing. The binding remains strong. The interior of the book contains 195 line drawings. Some of the pages show slight signs of foxing.  Overall a great item for a collector of vintage Observer books, a furniture restorer or for someone interested in furniture design or as originally intended as a reference for when walking around an antique fair.
