Back in the early 1960's a teenage boy would have to occupy his time reading his favourite comic such as The New Hotspur, and collecting the cards that were issued free with it. Depicting some of the greatest soccer teams each of the 16 cards shows monochrome photographs of each team. The teams featured are: Liverpool 1961-2, Everton 1930-1, Hibernian 1951-2, Dundee 1961-2, Burnley 1960, Arsenal 1934-5, Ipswich Town 1961-2, Nottingham Forest 1958-9, Glasgow Rangers 1956-7, Wolverhampton 1953-4, Preston North End 1938, Huddersfield 1927-8, Portsmouth 1939, Aberdeen 1955, Bolton 1922-3 and Tottenham Hotspur 1962. The plastic wallet is intact and in good condition. The cards themselves are in good, clean condition apart from that of Arsenal that has a corner missing but doesn't affect the team photograph. A great item for a trade card collector, a soccer fan or someone who collects comic related ephemera.
