Therefore is the name of the game or more accurately Ergo, a game of variation and skill. Marketed as a psuedo Ancient Roman game as depicted on the lid by the coloured design of a family wearing togas playing the game in a temple. The box is in very good condition. There is slight rubbing along the edges and corners as well as some hardly noticeable indentations. The actual design is unfaded and remains as colourful as it was the day it was made over 40 years ago. The playing board or arena is made of brown plastic imitating wood and is in excellent condition. All the 24 plastic playing pieces (12 black and 12 white) are present. Each has a golden Invicta lion imprinted on it. The game also comes with a multi-lingual instructipn leaflet which has some minor creasing and other insignificant marks. A great item for a collector of vintage games, for someone who collects games produced by Invicta (makers of Mastermind) or as originally intended as a fun game.
