Concorde Cockpit Jigsaw
£20.00 inc. tax
Description
The distinctive shape, graceful lines and ear splitting noise of the engines made Concorde totally unmistakable. At the cutting edge of aviation technology it flew from the mid-1970's to 2003. This supersonic airliner was the result of the collaboration between the UK and French air industries. The interest in Concorde fuelled the production of various pieces of memorabilia, this being such an item. Probably dating from the mid-1970's this jigsaw is complete. The box is immaculate apart from some minimal rubbing along edges and corners. A real coloured photograph of the interior of the cockpit is on the lid which appears it may have faded slightly. Most of the 690 thin, cardboard pieces are in good, unfaded order apart from a couple where the lugs have been bent but this doesn't detract from the construction or look of the jigsaw itself. A rather difficult jigsaw to complete so we recommend it for a more experienced person. A great item of vintage aviation memorabilia and would be ideal for a collector of Concorde memorabilia or someone with a connection to Concorde, as an item of interest to a general aviation enthusiast, or for a vintage jigsaw collector or for someone who simply likes doing jigsaws.
