The power of the word combined with the luck of the dice. This game is played in a similar way to traditional Scrabble but instead of randomly picking the letter tiles the 13 dice are rolled to generate the playing letters. The object of the game is to create crosswords, the longer the better, before the timer runs out. Educational and fun at the same time. This item is in astonishingly good condition even though it is over 40 years old. The box is strong and intact with just some creasing at the corners otherwise it is perfect order. Inside the pink cardboard storage tray on which the instructions are printed on is undamaged. The contents are complete; consisting of a red, faux leather cardboard dice shaker, plastic egg timer and 13 white, wooden dice on which the letters and their values are printed. A great item for a crossword/Scrabble enthusiast or as a fun family game with a bias to improving spelling and word power of the younger members.
