Mickey Mouse's pet dog. This Pluto character soap, an official piece of Walt Disney Productions merchandise, was from a recently acquired vintage soap collection which was put together during the 1970's to early 1980's. The original owner has written her name and date on the back as well as the date, 13/2/79, on the front. Considering it is over 35 years old it has survived really well. The box remains intact and strong, there is no fading or discolouration but there is a tear along the fold of one of the tabs, the slightest rubbing along edges and minimal creasing. The soap is wrapped in tissue for protection. Moulded in yellow soap, it is well defined and in perfect condition. An ideal item for a novelty soap collector, for a collector of household products or a collector of Walt Disney memorabilia.
