Yet another classic Sci-Fi puppet show created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson in the 1960's for television. Captain Scarlet, who looked and sounded remarkably like legendary actor Cary Grant, spent his time disrupting the evil plans of the Mysterons and Captain Black. As part of Spectrum, whose headquarters were on Cloudbase, Captain Scarlet was aided by the rest of the team which included Colonel White and the Angels and a plethora of highly advanced vehicles. This piece of authorised merchandise dates from 1967 and is an authoritative work on the world of Captain Scarlet . Being 50 years old it is in very good condition. The hardback covers are unfaded with very minor bumping but overall in good order apart from the spine having some slight damage to the top and bottom but this doesn't detract from the look or enjoyment of this book. The binding remains strong and intact. Throughout, the book is clean and undamaged. The book contains many articles about vehicle specifications, character biographies along with comic strips, quizzes and many stills from the television series. A fantastic genuine item for a fan of Captain Scarlet, a fan of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's work, an enthusiast of 1960's children's television or a general Sci-Fi fan.
